Power your fleet with cost-saving renewable energy technology.
Our patented systems leverage airflow and motion to sustainably power your transportation fleets. Both the TAG wind turbine trailer attachment and IMICS cab-mounted drive train generator provide renewable electricity to charge liftgates, refrigeration units, lighting and more. By capturing energy already generated through driving, you gain major fuel and maintenance savings while future-proofing for inevitable emissions regulations.

The TAG system is our patented trailer-mounted wind turbine generator designed specifically for semis and box trucks. As trucks drive down highways, the turbine blades rotate to harness roadway wind energy which would normally be lost. The system's permanent magnet generator with 90% efficiency converts wind power into usable electricity which directly charges liftgate, refrigeration unit, lighting and other auxiliary batteries. By using constant airflow instead of the alternator and engine to charge equipment, the TAG system majorly reduces diesel fuel usage and emissions. Less idling is needed too. Renewable wind energy displaces carbon-intensive power sources, leading to substantial cost savings.
The IMICS system is our innovative truck cab-mounted generator that harnesses rotational energy from the driveshaft to produce electricity. As the engine runs and wheels turn, the contactless magnetic IMICS unit is engaged to utilize otherwise wasted motion. This activation efficiently powers the compact generator. Electricity generated from the driveshaft rotation charges liftgate, refrigeration, pallet jack and other auxiliary batteries continuously while avoiding engine drain. By directly powering equipment without an intermediary, no efficiency is lost which leads to lower emissions and fuel expenses over time. The IMICS Power System sustainably transforms motion into stored energy to run trailer components and accessories. This reduces diesel demands, saving money while advancing corporate sustainability goals through renewable power adoption.
The EcoGen2 system is a revolutionary cab chassis-mounted hybrid power solution available in the U.S. through a collaboration between Green Road Energy and Hultsteins, a Swedish company. Designed to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of refrigerated fleet operations. Powered by the REPTO (rear engine power take off), the system uses a hydraulic pump to drive a generator that outputs 400 volt AC, providing the necessary power to run the TRU (Transport Refrigeration Unit) on what it "thinks" is shore power while on the road, with diesel as a backup power source if needed.
This innovative technology allows diesel/electric reefer units to operate on electric power while driving, not just when docked, addressing critical issues such as fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, and noise pollution. The EcoGen2 significantly lowers operating expenses and reduces fuel usage by thousands of gallons per reefer per year, offering a return on investment in about 12-14 months. Additionally, it dramatically cuts CO2 emissions, equivalent to removing approximately 1,000 cars from the road annually.
The EcoGen2 system ensures quieter deliveries during early morning hours, minimizing disturbances in residential areas. Furthermore, it helps future-proof fleets by meeting current and upcoming environmental regulations, ensuring operations remain compliant and ahead of the curve.
By integrating the EcoGen2 system, your fleet will benefit from a sustainable, cost-effective solution that enhances operational efficiency and environmental responsibility.
The TAG system generator has no belts or contact points requiring critical upkeep. Only a weekly inspection is needed to ensure no debris has attached to the intake screen.
With no parts that will need replacing, the IMICS system is essentially maintenance free. And unlike other non-motorized, on-demand power solutions, it does not require in-wall, “overnight” charging.
The TAG system can start generating/charging at speeds as slow as 9 MPH. In testing ( perfect conditions & setup), the TAG system was able to charge a 12 volt battery from 12.3 volts to 13.7 volts in 6.9 miles, and displayed a settled charge of 12.5 volts.
Weight- 50-60 pounds depending on output.
The IMICS system is able to provide a range of voltages and amp output. Currently, we can charge battery systems from 12-48 volts and provide amp output from 23 to 220 amp hours.
Weight- 50-60 pounds depending on output.
